- Opt-in is displayed before the number is used for messaging
- The user must take an affirmative action โ checkbox must be actively checked
- Messages are described in plain language (project alerts, reminders, escalations, notices)
- STOP and HELP instructions are included in the consent copy
- Message and data rates disclosure is present
- Consent is explicitly stated as not a condition of purchase
- Links to Terms and Privacy are provided
- Mobile opt-in data is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes
- Sample messages (2 minimum) are provided and match the stated use case
